A. Keep your dog hydrated

Water is very important. In order for people, plants and even dogs to be healthy they need to right amount of water. It is important that your dog always has access to clean and fresh water. You should change the water in your dogs bowl at least two times a day. You need to bring your dog water if you will take him or her on walks. Your dog is dehydrated if he is already panting, has dry mouth or loosing elasticity in the skin. If your dog is dehydrated you need to add pedialyte in his water since this will replace the electrolytes. This can also replace sodium and potassium.

B. Give your dog flea medication

Ticks and fleas can cause persistent itchiness on your dogs. Fleas can cause lyme disease and tapeworms. These kinds of diseases can cause seizures, vomiting and diarrhea. These disease can also affect people. There are types of flea and tick treatment that you can choose from. There are flea and tick powder, oil, shampoo and collar.

C. Make sure your dog has regular exercise

Dogs really have a lot of energy and this is the reason why they need to have regular exercise. You are preventing your dog from acting up If they have regular exercise. If they go on regular walks then they will not ruin the furniture in your home. Your dog should have one hour exercise everyday. You should also buy your dogs toys that they can play with. Exercise can keep your dog healthy.

D. The diet of your dog

There are certain kinds of food that you need to include in the diet of your dog such as turkey, chicken, broccoli, chicken, eggs, sweet potato and mackerel. The food that you will give your dog will affect his or her energy, skin, weight gastrointestinal function and coat. If you notice your dog is having problems with the things that were mentioned above the you may need to change the diet of your dog. It is important that you slowly change the diet of your dog, so he or she will not experience having diarrhea.
