Fully grown parrots require around ten minutes attention from the owner for training. Parrotlets will feel comfortable in a cage with toys and other playful material provided there is enough space for play. These birds do well by themselves, and so they don’t need company. They can only feel comfortable in the company of their owners and other parrots. Their houses should be made separate to that of other pets.
Although they are friendly birds they can cause harm to anything that causes disturbance to them. They should be separated from the other pets to avoid fights that can occur. Little kids should be kept far from them to avoid disturbing them and getting injured. However the birds are friendly depending on the kind of interaction one has with them.
